The rooms can be formatted to most needs, from interviews to committee meetings. Equipment is available to help events run smoothly.

Discount
A 10% discount is permitted on standard and commercial bookings only. It will be applied if the following criteria are met:
- Regular bookings of no less than 6 (six) in a 12 month period only will attract discount.
- The bookings must be made as a multiple booking.

General information about library meeting rooms
- All prices are per hour with a minimum booking period of 2 hours. All part hours will be charged to the nearest half hour. Setting up and clearing up time for hirers and their guests to disperse must be pre-booked and paid for. Extra time outside these agreed times will be invoiced. Please note: All part hours will be charged to the nearest half hour.
- Use of the kitchen, crockery and other facilities is chargeable. (These may not be within or next to the meeting room.)
- There are water jugs for meeting use.
- Calderdale Libraries does not hold a license to serve alcohol at any venue where meeting rooms are sited. If you want to provide alcohol as part of your booking, please indicate this at an early stage of booking.
Central Library meeting room
There is a bookable meeting room on the 2nd floor.
- Capacity:
- 20 people boardroom layout.
- 40 people lecture style.
- There is a 70 inch smart TV and a laptop available for presentations.
- A kitchenette next to the room is available to prepare food and drinks.


Brighouse library meeting room
Capacity:
- 20 boardroom layout.
- 38 lecture style.

King Cross library meeting rooms
Capacity:
- Large room 12 - 15 people, boardroom style.
- Small room 2 - 3 people, suitable for 1 to 1 meetings.
