- Being safe and responsible online – Identify and apply browser safety functions. Navigate and respond to browser suggestions, commands (defaults).
Course level
Entry Level - Qualifications at Entry 1 to Entry 3 recognise basic knowledge and skills used in everyday life or in the workplace, and help to build confidence.
Who is this course for?
Residents of Calderdale aged 19+ who wish to gain a Digital Functional Skills Entry 3 qualification. You will require basic mouse and keyboard skills to join the course.
It will also help you adopt a structured and professional approach to working in an office environment. The social aspects could also be beneficial helping create friendships which may improve mental health and wellbeing.
Please note you will be contacted by the Course Tutor in advance of the start date so that we can give further information, advice and guidance, and assess your suitability for the accredited course.
What do I need to bring?
- A note pad and a pen.
- You must be able to access the web-based learning platform Google Classroom during the course. To do this you will need access to IT equipment such as a smartphone, laptop, PC or tablet, and a stable internet connection. You’ll also need to install Google Chrome Browser if you do not have this already – it's free to download and use, please visit: www.google.co.uk/chrome.
